Toddler/Pre-School Classes

COMBO CRAZE

• this is a class with ballet, jazz and Hip Hop
• Introductory fun class
• learn basic steps
• make believe/dress up days/games
• each class ends with a fun routine taught
• routine will most likely be fast jazz/hip hop (ballet movements will be taught throughout as a base, but not the routine)

Ballerina Princess and Creative Dance

• for the girls (Ballerina Princess) for Both (Creative Dance)
• introduction to ballet and jazz
• dress up in dresses - crowns are part of special classes
• make believe time/games - a favourite is obviously Reach's Princess Game!
• steps taught include - ballet first/second, skips, marches, chases, basic jumps and spins

Jazz/Hip Hop

• Very much like COMBO CRAZE - but without the ballet component
• very fast moving
• steps include marches, bounces, jumps
• Make believe/dress-up/games

Pre-Tap

• For this class - no tap shoes are needed - just fun dress up shoes!
• Boys and girls will learn how to make fun sounds with their feet - basic ball heels, step touches
• Great Rhythm class

Toddler Groove - MOM/TOT

• Moms and kids together
• once they can walk and run they are old enough to DANCE
• Circle Time and songs at the beginning and end of each class
• BUBBLES/Dress Up (for the tots)
• Together moms and tots groove to the music, basic dance steps/lingo are used to introduce children to the dance world. Fostering a love of dance and music and movement is the goal!

Song and Dance

• This is a new 12 week program where the kids will work for an 1.5 each week and put together an original play. They will sing, dance, act and even put together some props! This new program promises to be a lot of fun. (all 12 week performances are presented at Reach Dance Academy)
